Edward M. Hayhurst letters, 1862 September-December
Scope and Contents
Contains sixteen letters written between September 5 and December 20, 1862. The letters were written during Hayhurst's solo journey to join the 124th Ohio Infantry in Cincinnati, Ohio, then during their travels down through Camp Harrison to Camp Cleveland and sojourn there until the end of December 1862. It also includes original enclosures two of newspaper clippings.
