Scope and Contents
Contains eleven letters written by Edward Hayhurst to his father Isaac, brother Joseph, and "Our Folks," during February 1863. Letters were written while Hayhurst's unit was traveling on the Ohio and Cumberland rivers from the area of Cannelton, Indiana, down through Nashville to their main camp in Franklin, Tennessee.
