Miss Copeland’s card, address written on it; “Balsamic Court Plaster,” folded up thin paper with picture of a woman on it, from Whetherill & Brothers, Philadelphia, inside are two pieces of fabric, photocopy included; photocopy of parts of a daily calendar, 1 & 4 January, have quotes from David Elginbrod and Mary Marston, 1 p.; photocopy of newspaper clipping “Running down Maxwell,” traces a murderer from St. Louis to San Francisco, at the bottom of the column, “Opposing the Doctrine of Ceremonials,” the Rev. J. Eastburn Brown of the Reformed Episcopal Church opposed ceremonials in church, continued in the second column, 2 pp., 16 April [1885]; photocopy of newspaper clipping, “Sometime” a poem, 1 p., n.d.; newspaper clipping, “The Hotel Tragedy,” more on the alleged murderer, Lennox Maxwell, 1 p., 16 April [1885]; photocopy of newspaper clipping, incomplete article about Maxwell, 1 p., n.d.; found after the last Memoranda page.
