File contains letters regarding the position of chief scout in the British dominions and confusion stemming from misunderstanding the role of dominion chief scouts. File contains letters written following the death of Lord Baden-Powell proposing the retiring of the title Chief Scout as a memorial for Lord Baden-Powell. The scout committee responds to the proposals and politely denies the requests. Dated 1927-1930.
