Stanley A. Peterson (born 1938) was an educational administrator in Utah.

Stanley Arthur Peterson was born on April 20, 1938 in Sacramento, California to Oscar Henry Peterson and Bessie Viola Steinagel. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1960, and then returned to California to earn a master's degree at California State University, Los Angeles in 1964. After graduation he worked for the Church Educational System at the University of Southern California before being recruited by Ernest L. Wilkinson to run the BYU-California Center. Two years later he moved to Utah to become the associate dean, and then dean of the university's Continuing Education Division.

In 1976, Peterson was appointed by Church Commission of Education Jeffrey R. Holland to serve as the associate commissioner for religious education, and elementary and secondary education. He served in this position until his retirement from the Church Educational System in 2001.

Stephen L. Barrett (1934-2008) was an educational administrator in Utah.

Stephen Lee Barrett was born on June 12, 1934 in Logan, Utah to Walter William Barrett and Myrtle Jeppson. His parents later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and then to El Cerrito, California, where Barrett attended elementary and high school. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission to the Eastern States. He then attended Brigham Young University-Hawaii, where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science. He taught high school in Hawaii, California, and Utah before determining to continue his education, earning a master's of education from Brigham Young University in 1968.

In 1969 Barrett joined the Brigham Young University administration, serving in various roles related to alumni relations. He served as the director of the Brigham Young University Alumni Association from 1986 to 1998. Barrett was also active in the Church, serving as a bishop, high councilor, and gospel doctrine teacher. He died on June 7, 2008 in Orem, Utah.
