The letter is mostly about the 3 month old daughter she calls babe throughout the letter, though she calls her Mary at the end. (The girl became known as Mamie). Dated November 25 and 27, 1886.

She saw a visitor from Arizona, a Mr. Christie, on business about sheep. It is rumored that the Dingle canal will come between them and Sparks. She hopes this is so as it will give them enough money to build a good house. Undated.
