An envelope that housed a letter from George Edward Sirrine to Sarah Oakey Sirrine. The letter itself is not in the folder. The envelope has a handwritten summary of the letter. This summary was made by Helen Bateman. The envelope says Mother (Ester Ann Crismon Sirrine) is getting better, Ella (Edward's sister) is gaining strength. There is a $5000 reward for Geronimo. The plums and apricots are ripening. Dated May 18, 1886.
