The collection contains letters from Eve Ball to Mr. and Mrs. Ogilvie spanning the years 1972-1981. There are twenty-five (25) letters in the collection, in chronological order, as they were received by the Ogilvies in these years. They also contain the envelopes in which they were sent, and the correspondence is singularly from Ms. Ball to the Ogilvie family. Additionally, four color slide photographs of Eve Ball's home are included.

Kenneth Mead Ogilvie was an acquaintance of Eve Ball, who was a leading authority on the lives of the Apache tribe in New Mexico in the middle of the 20th century. Kenneth Mead Ogilvie was married to Barbara Mackey.
Biographical History
Barbara Mackey Ogilvie lived in Arcadia, California, with her husband Kenneth Mead Ogilvie. She was an acquaintance of Eve Ball, who was a leading authority on the lives of the Apache tribe in New Mexico in the middle of the 20th century. They worked closely with her in her research and interest in the Apache tribespeople, as well as being friends on a social level.
