Biographical / Historical
Ernest DeAlton Partridge was born November 6, 1906, in Provo, Utah to Ernest DeAlton Partridge and Elizabeth Mae Truman. Ernest married Nell Clark on January 28, 1931, in New York City. He taught at Montclair University in New Jersey. Ernest and Nell lived in New York and New Jersey for over three decades and together helped found the New Jersey State School of Conservation. They had three sons. Ernest died October 7, 1985, and was buried in Farmington, Utah.
Biographical / Historical
Nell Clark Partridge was born July 16, 1903, in Farmington, Utah, to Amasa L. and Susan Duncan Clark. She attended Davis High School and received a BA from Brigham Young University in 1924 and an MA from Columbia University in 1932. Nell married Ernest DeAlton Partridge on January 28, 1931. The couple lived in New York and New Jersey for over three decades and together helped found the New Jersey State School of Conservation. They had three sons. Nell died March 7, 1994, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
