Contains fifteen 15 letters written by Edward Hayhurst to his father or "Our Folks", his mother, or his brother Joseph, during May 1863. All letters were written from camp headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, where Hayhurst had been asked to serve as camp clerk. No other notable events.
