Biographical History
Ford L. Stevenson (born 1944) is a retired financial aid administrator in Utah.
Ford Lund Stevenson was born in 1944 to Verlin Ford and Margaret Lund. He attended the University of Utah before serving a mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denmark between 1963 and 1965. After his return he studied at Brigham Young University, receiving his bachelor's degree in 1968. In 1967 he married Karen Hale in the Salt Lake Temple, and they raised seven children. He then joined the U.S. Army, with postings in Germany and the United States.
In 1973 Stevenson returned to Brigham Young University, working in Admissions and Records. He was was appointed director of Financial Aid in 1977, and became associate dean of Admissions and Records in 1990. He also served as president of the Utah Associatin of Student Financial Aid Administrators. He retired from the university in 2007.
Following his wife Karen's death in 2007, Stevenson married Roselle Anderson.
