Soelberg, Grace
Biography
Grace Soelberg is a scholar of history, Africana studies, and sociology.
Grace Soelberg graduated from Brigham Young University in 2022, majoring in history with minors in Africana studies and sociology. Her honor’s thesis is titled, “Peculiar Students of a Peculiar Institution: Racial Minorities and Race Relations at Brigham Young University as Presented in the Banyan from 1911-1985.” Grace Soelberg was also involved with the BYU Slavery Project, established in 2020, which studies connections to slavery and history of racial discrimination at the institution and its associated founders and past leaders. In 2022, Grace attended the Amos C. Brown Student Fellowship to Ghana.
As of 2023, Grace was a graduate student studying history at the University of Utah.
