James Clove (1891-1963) was the principal for Payson High School in Payson, Utah, in 1931.

James Clove was born in Provo, Utah on September 9, 1891. He was principal of Payson High School in Payson, Utah, until becoming superintendent of the Logan School District in 1933. He served as superintendent until 1950, when he decided to not seek reappointment due to poor health. He died in 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
