Biographical History

Jaren Wilkey (born 1976) directs BYU Photo and serves as university photographer as of 2022.

Jaren Santos Wilkey was born in 1976. In 1998, he began working for Brigham Young University as a student photographer for University Communications. He became a full-time manager and photographer in 2003 for the photography office, later known as University Photography, and then BYU Photo. In 2011, he was named the National Photographer of the Year by the University Photographers' Association of America.
