Biography

Heber Chase Kimball (1888-1976) was the assistant president of the LDS Business College.

Heber Chase Kimball was born on August 11, 1888, to Solomon Farnham Kimball and Zula Pomeroy Kimball in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Pearl Smith on April 29, 1909, in the Salt Lake City temple. After Pearl's death, he married Sarah Ann Timmons in 1960. Throughout his life, he worked for the Saltair in Salt Lake City, and also was the assistant president of the LDS Business College. Heber died on December 18, 1976, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Scope and Contents

Materials include personal histories of Heber Chase Kimball and his wife, Pearl Smith Kimball. These include letters written from both Heber and Pearl, photographs of their families and home, copies of scrapbooks, blessings, biographies written about their lives, and ephemera from various life events. Materials were created by Heber, Pearl, and their descendants. Also contains typescripts of letters produced by the Heber C. Kimball Foundation. Dated approximately 1865 to 2001.
