Biographical History

Marian Park Vincent (1845-1926) was the wife of Daniel Vincent and an ancestor of Virlie Vincent Westwood.

Marian Vincent was born Marian Park on April 6, 1845 in Ontario, Canada to John and Louisa Smith Park. Her family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1840 and crossed the plains arriving in Salt Lake Valley in 1847 with John Taylor's company. In 1849 she moved with her family to Provo where they lived in the Utah Fort. She married Daniel Vincent on February 22, 1867 in the Salt Lake Endowment House. She was heavily involved in her Relief Society and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Marian Park Vincent passed away April 10, 1926.
