Oliver Hardy (1892-1957) was a comedian known for his collaborations with Stan Laurel.

Oliver Hardy was born Norvell Hardy on January 18, 1892 in Harlem, Georgia. In 1910, he began running a movie theater, and began acting in 1913. In 1926, he started working with Stan Laurel. Oliver Hardy died of complications with dieting August 7, 1957 in North Hollywood.
