Biographical History

Isabel F. Cowan (1876-1965) was the wife of a power company operator in Colorado.

Isabel Franes Heaton was born on February 19, 1876 in St. Louis, Missouri to George Heaton and Jane Laidman Robinson. She was married on April 29, 1907 in New Westminister, British Columbia to Eber Dexter Clark, and they had one son. After Eber's death, Isabel married Orion Guy Cowan on August 3, 1910 in Basalt, Idaho. They lived Colorado, where Guy worked as a power plant operator. Isabel died on January 19, 1965 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Scope and Contents Contains fifteen letters received by Cowan from March 21, 1918 to September 7, 1920, eight of which are written by Frank Wilbur Randall and two by his wife Agnes Randall. Contents of these letters include his dealings in Arizona as an x-ray technician, including the smelter business, and about the death of Agnes. Agnes wrote about their move to Colorado.
