Biography

John Vernon McConnell (1897-1976) was a resident of California and Oregon and the brother of Marie De Remer.

John Vernon McConnell was born on September 20, 1897, in Panguitch, Utah, to Jehiel Eli McConnell and Hansene Marie Clove. He moved to Bingham County, Idaho at a young age. His parents separated, and in 1928, due to cancer, his father took his own life. He was the oldest of 7 siblings. He married Lois Irene Storm in 1933 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They had one daughter together. By 1950, they moved to San Diego, California, where they lived through much of the 1960s. McConnell then moved to Oregon, where he died on August 8, 1976.
