Biographical History

Donald G. Godfrey (born 1944) is an author and professor of journalism in Arizona.

Donald G. Godfrey received his bachelor's degree in communications at Weber State University, and his master's degree in journalism at the University of Oregon. He completed his education with a Ph.D. in speech communication from the University of Washington. Over the course of his career, Godfrey has worked in a number of positions, including television news reporter, news director and producer, and news anchor. He has also taught journalism and communications courses at universities throughout the West, including schools in Utah, Washington, and Arizona. Godfrey has also written a number of works on communications and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
