Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 8 Dec. 1838, composed in Far West, Missouri, and addressed to Mary Judd. Page proposes marriage to Judd. He copied the information from two cards on the back of the letter. The cards had statements on them either rejecting or accepting the offer.
