The Skabelund family was established in 1936 when Norma Hancey (1913-1991) married John Rex Skabelund (1911-1965) in Logan, Utah. They had three children, including Paul Hancey Skabelund (1937-2021), who was born in Logan, Utah. Paul would go on to marry Joyce Roth (1938-2023), also a lifelong resident of Utah, and they had nine children.

Scope and Contents
Collection includes a scrapbook owned and created by Norma Hancey Skabelund that documents the family's travels on an "L.D.S. Sociables Tour," that took them through Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, New York, Washington, D.C., Colorado, and Nebraska, stopping at various historical sites of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The scrapbook includes a souvenir travel album with recorded thoughts in the album by Norma, and a tour booklet. Collection also includes a Zion's Boys & Girls...
