Lamanite Generation (est. 1971 is a musical performing group from Brigham Young University.

In 1971, Janie Thompson, founded the group Lamanite Generation. The group featured Native American youths. Later Latin Americans and Polynesian cultures were added to the group. The groups name was also changed to Living Legends. They have performed all over the world in places such as Europe, South America, Canada, Australia, South Africa, China, Russia, and the Pacific Islands. They also performed in Salt Lake City during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

Contains assembly scripts (1952-1964), entries for the Mormon Art Student Competition and Music Composition Contest, the Annual Student Body 1 Act Play Contest winner (1966), cultural event programs (1964-1970), newspaper clippings associated with cultural and arts events(1968-1970), and reports, notes, and correspondence (1958-1971). This collection also contains vinyl records of BYU music groups.
