Brooklyn Christian Endeavor Union was a subsidiary of the Christian Endeavor Society in 1903, in Brooklyn, New York.

The Christian Endeavor Society was established in February 2, 1881, in Portland, Maine, by pastor Francis E. Clark, and his wife Harriet. The society was formed to help ground young people in their faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. The organization later established separate unions by geographic areas, which included the Brooklyn Christian Endeavor Union, which was active in 1903 in Brooklyn, New York. As of 2023, the World's Christian Endeavor Union was still active.

Scope and Contents

Contains eighteen handwritten letters to Elizabeth B. Lampman, all but one having postmarked envelopes, written between July to August 1903 by Edmund C. Babcock; there are also two letters written by an anonymous person or persons, located in the letter of July 16th written from Cripple Creek, Colorado. Letters document Babcock's travels through Yellowstone National Park as the secretary of the Brooklyn Christian Endeavor Union.
