Lee Library, intranet site viewed Nov. 11, 2013: Scholarship and Creative Works (The Scholarship and Creative Works Committee; responsible for promoting creative work among library faculty at Brigham Young University; reviews proposals for creative projects that will result in a product; makes recommendations to the University Librarian regarding the granting of funds; works to ensure that resources are awarded where they will return the greatest benefit to the Library and acts as a check to prevent misuse of funds or abuse of privileges; consists of five members; three members are elected; one from each library division- Public Services, Special Collections, and Technical Services; two members are appointed from the Library faculty at large by the Library Administrative Council; the Associate University Librarian is an ex officio member of the Committee; one member acts as chair; each member serves for two years; appointments and elections are staggered to maintain continuity within the Committee)
