Administrative History

The Department of Homemaking Education (1966-1968) was an instructional unit of the College of Family Living. The department was responsible for teaching courses to prepare students to teach home economics in secondary schools. The department was previously a program within the Department of Family Life Education. It was later renamed the Department of Home Economics Education.

The department chair of was Virginia B. Poulson (1966-1968).
