Typewritten autobiography. Lamoreaux attended the Dr. W. H. Grove Latter Day Saint Hospital School of Nursing in Salt Lake City, Utah, and joined the U.S. Army on 1 Dec. 1944. She writes about her training and various assignments in the army. She married Donald C. Lamaroeaux in 1948.
Typewritten excerpts from the diary of an unnamed cadet nurse from 4 Jan. 1943 to 15 Nov. 1945. She served in the military from June 1944 to Dec. 1946. She writes about her experiences being trained as a nurse, treating patients, and the celebration in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the end of the war. The author requested that her name not be used.

Typewritten autobiography as told through letters written by Mayland during World War II. Most of these items were written to family members. She was stationed in Missouri and Texas during the war. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jun. 1943 and married Lawrence Mayland on 22 Sept. 1945.
