Collection contains the handwritten notes of George Edwards at Miss Chittenden's School in Bath, New York. He notes his daily lessons, including specific subjects, and the exam scores of himself and a few others. Also included are his notes of the sermons each week at church. Joseph T. Ellis papers

Emeline letter to her sister, Walpole, New Hampshire

Scope and Contents

Handwritten letter dated July 24, 1832, with "Dear Sister" on the top of the first page as a salutation. The item was addressed to Joseph Mason of Walpole, New Hampshire. Emeline informs her sister that she has just been baptized into a Protestant church about 50 miles west of Palmyra, New York and no longer fears death or hardship.

Typewritten and handwritten copies of vital records taken from the Parish registers of Little Staughton, Bedfordshire, Wilden, Wilstead, Potton, and Clifton in England.
