Scope and Contents Collection contains 740 photographs, including 719 prints made by Brigham Young University of 594 negatives and 125 transparencies. The photographs were taken between approximately 1910 and 1929. They are photographs of places throughout Utah. Many are taken in the wilderness, especially in the mountains. Collection consists of two photographs of the Gardiner family taken about 1860. One image is of his wife, Sarah Louise Crosby Gardiner, and the other a group photograph that includes "Aunt Matt, Uncle Sylvest, Josephine, and mother Louise Crosby".
