The great bulk of the J. Reuben Clark Jr. papers were inventoried in 1967. This register is only of the Clark papers that have come to the library since that time. This addendum contains a variety of papers that cover the full life span of Mr. Clark. However, the great bulk of the material here are his personal diaries and his financial records.
Edgar A. Guest letter
Typewritten and signed letter dated 6 July 1943 and addressed to Mrs. Rhoda Twyman of Galveston, Texas. Guest congradulates Twyman on her interest in the United Nations and in its flag.
J. Reuben Clark, Jr. papers on foreign relations, 1909-1939
Contains a few items dealing with United States foreign policy, most of which were written by Clark while he was Undersecretary of State.
J. H. McKnight letters
Contains six letters between J. H. McKnight and Senator Abe Murdock and one to J. Will Robinson, dated 1945-1946. Each letter deals with political issues to which McKnight expressed a strong opposition in hopes the Senator would do something about it. These issues include the United Nations, involvement in World War II and the reconstruction of Europe after.
