John Smith mission papers, 1862-1864
Contains papers related to Smith's mission to Denmark for the LDS Church from 1862-1864. Includes four diaries, three of which are originals and one of which is a photocopy and transcription. Also includes his mission blessing, papers related to daily mission activities, a provision list for Danish Saints on the "Monarch of the Seas," a record of priesthood ordinations, a Danish grammar book, and letters to his wife, Hellen, and children. Dated 1862-1864.

Includes patriarchal blessings given to him, as well as those he gave to others. Also includes tithing receipts, legal documents, documents regarding stock held by Smith, commendations for Smith, miscellaneous correspondence, documents related to Joseph Smith III, and articles regarding John Smith. Dated 1852-1962.
Letters, 1895-1897
Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter, dated 27 Dec. 1897, and addressed to "Brother Anthony." Cannon asks Anthony to "extend any courtesy to [a friend] that he may need." Also included is a photocopy of a typewritten "Agreement," dated 25 June 1895, and signed by the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Cannon. The item relates to an "overdraft" from "Zion's Saving Bank."
William Wines Phelps papers
This collection contains papers, certificates, and photographs relating to William W. Phelps, son of Henry E. and Mary Catherine Phelps. The collection also includes material relating to his LDS mission to Britain around 1903 as well as in the Pioneer and Ensign stakes. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, 16 February, 1866 and died 30 August, 1945.

Contains files related to Smoot's involvement in mining. Includes correspondence and maps from the Big Indian Copper Company and records regarding the Gilsonite deal. Finally, pertains to work with Gold Chain Mining Company, Iron King Mining Company, Mascot Mining Company, and Western Australian Mining Laws. This demonstrates Smoot's work with these companies.
