Also included is business account books of Charles D. Miller, materials related to the Perpetual Emigration Fund of the Mormon Church, and some Mormon patriarchal blessings.

Collection contains diaries and autobiography, biographies, family history, correspondence, legal documents and newspaper clippings related to his personal life, pioneer memories, missionary experiences, political activities as mayor and member of the Democratic party, LDS Church activities, and leadership in business and civic activities in Utah. Also includes copies of his poetical writings.

Collection includes the papers of early Utah resident Samuel Stephen jones, including letters, a short autobiography, naturalization records, the lyrics to "Hand Cart Song," a Utah militia commission document, a short, transcribed autobiography of Jones, receipts, a notebook, and stock certificates. Materials dated approximately 1850 to 1914.
