This collection, containing letters, journals, newspaper articles, and other family correspondence, has been organized into folders by year, starting in 1846 and ending in 1960.

Letter of J. Reuben Clark, Salt Lake City to L. R. Woolley, North Logan, dated 5 November 1959. Clark answers several questions Woolley has asked him, including one one on the rearing of children (how strict should parents be) and one on the resurrection of a mortal body with missing limbs. Clark tells a story about Brigham Young.

Typewritten and signed letter dated March 15, 1960 and addressed to Francis W. Kirkham. Clark thanks Kirkham for a book sent to him which Kirkham wrote.

Letter contains thanks from Clark to Pardoe for the invitation to the latter's performances at Brigham Young University. Clark states that he is not much of a theater-goer, but he will make use of the invitation if the opportunity should present itself.

The great bulk of the J. Reuben Clark Jr. papers were inventoried in 1967. This register is only of the Clark papers that have come to the library since that time. This addendum contains a variety of papers that cover the full life span of Mr. Clark. However, the great bulk of the material here are his personal diaries and his financial records.

Collection contains diaries, correspondence, genealogical records, newspapers clippings, photographs, diary transcriptions, and digital images on optical media.

Typewritten and signed letter addressed to William Conover of Springville, Utah. The item was signed by George Albert Smith, J. Reuben Clark, and David O. McKay. Conover was informed that the Book of Mormon had been translated into the Tahitian language.

Letter to all mission presidents in foreign areas from the First Presidency concerning “purchase of future branch meetinghouse sites in foreign areas,” 1961.

Four typed and signed letters by Mormon Church leaders Ezra Taft Benson (1943), Bruce R. McConkie (1960), LeGrand Richards (1958), and J. Reuben Clark (1948), addressed to Francis W. Kirkham in Utah. Benson mentions visiting a number of "cooperatives,' McConkie expresses appreciation for a book received, Richards talks about the gathering of the Jews to Israel, and Clark speaks of his intention to write a book on the life of the Savior.

Reuben Clark Jr. briefly summarizes the circumstances of Jesus Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection.
