Scope and Contents Typescript of an autobiography and a diary to the year 1897 with photocopies of a handwritten diary for the year 1910 when Rogers was serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Scotland. Rogers writes about his early life in Utah, his migration to Arizona, his family, and his missionary activies in Scotland. Material contains the diary which Rogers used to document his mission to Ireland and Scotland. He served his mission from 1909-1910 and his diary documents his experiences in a series of communities. His diary also chronicles experiences with mission companions. He describes his interactions with other religious denominations, including the Presbyterian Church and the Young Men's Christian Association. His diary also includes original poetry and local humor.
