Includes an alleged parish register, dated 1691, written over a circa-15th-century monk's chant; "La Marseillaise Chant Patriotique," a printed item written in French, 1848; a silk menu from a banquet held for "the president of the republic," 1898, also in French; and a printed booklet entitled, "Stories of the Operas Produced by the Metropolitan Opera Company" for the 1894-95 season. Morris gathered the items during his world travels.

Some of the correspondence is with Cecil B. DeMille, the American motion picture producer. Also includes newspaper coverage of Milner's detention in the Soviet Zone of Germany in 1949.
