Typewritten copy of a diary. Also included are a typewritten copy of a newspaper report of Joseph Ira Earl's death. The item was copied by Mabel Jarvis for the Federal Writers Projects of the WPA in 1936. Earl writes about his daily activities, his work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and meetings with friends and family members.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The item is an autobiography by Jones in which she also tells about her parents. Jones was born in 1854 in Sweden and soon emigrated to the United States where she stayed for two years in St. Louis, Missouri. At that time her brother was kidnapped by those who did not like the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Johanna's "mother never got over grieving for her lost boy.
