Scope and Contents Photocopies of handwritten entries in two ledger books. The entries were made between 1877 and 1882 when Hinckley was living in Cove Fort, Utah. They list persons apparently using the stage lines through Cove Fort and also present financial transactions.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten letter dated April 12, 1867 and a newspaper clipping dated July 17, 1958. In the letter Brigham Young calls Ira Hinkley to settle Cove Creek and to build a fort there. The building is known as Cove Fort. The newspaper clipping shows a photograph of the fort.
