Scope and Contents

Young was one of Brigham Young University’s Folk Dancers. These materials reflect his time as a dancer, and also the director of the BYU Women’s Dance Group. There are programs, newspapers clippings, 1959 Montana tour itineraries, posters, and a typed history of the BYU Women’s Dance Group. Young appears in programs as both a student and alumni. Pourparler is French, meaning to talk and dance excitedly without stopping for three days.
