Torn piece of an envelope. The item is addressed to "Barton O. Aylesworth, DD. President of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa." "Compts of J. J. a'Becket" is also written on the item in another hand. On the reverse of the envelope "Thomas Turner A'Beckett" is written. The date of the item is unknown.

Also included is the envelope in which the letter was sent. With the collection is a portrait of Boyle clipped from a magazine.

The other item is addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth. Barton responds to a request for autobiographical information.

Also included is a typed, form letter sent by Aylesworth to Burton upon which Burton wrote responses to the inquiries in the missive. With these materials is an envelope in which the items were sent. Also included is a portrait of Burton clipped from a magazine.
