Handwritten and signed letter, dated October 24, 1862, and addressed to Mrs. Robinson in Bagatelle, Moka, Mauritius. The item was composed in Johanna Anjouan, Comoro Islands. Livingstone offers condolences on the loss of Robinson's loved one. He also writes about his exploration from Lake Nyasa and his attempts to stop the illegal slave trade.
