Scope and Contents

Typewritten letter dated 24 May 1962 and addressed to the editior of the "Saint's Herald" of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Smith writes in response to an article in the Saint's Herald about the Mormon Church in Utah relating to its stand on Blacks holding the priesthood. Smith refers to several verses of scripture to show that the stand is correct. A letter acknowleding Smith's letter is also attached.
