Includes interviews with veterans conducted by Don E. Norton, a retired English professor in Utah, and recorded on cassette tapes and optical discs. Also selected transcripts, bound histories, and a scrapbook. Interviews include Latter-day Saint veterans who served in World War II or other United States-involved wars. Interviews include war experiences and biographical narrative. Dated approximately 1944 to 2017.

Contains various stories of the Smith family during the Restoration from Carthage to the Salt Lake Valley, and Eldred Smith's experiences as the Church Patriarch from 1947 to 1979. This interview took place February 8, 2001.
