Scope and Contents Includes a 149-page holograph diary kept by Eliza Ann Bennion from 1871 to 1876, while living on the "Bennion Ranch" near Vernon, in Rush Valley, Utah. Records the daily activities of a young woman in 19th century Utah, including helping her mother, doing chores, and going to church and school. She also tells of visits to family members in Taylorsville, Utah. Most entries are brief and recount simple incidents.
