Contains artist's renderings of Brigham Young and another man in Emigration Canyon, and of various campus scenes at Brigham Young Academy and Brigham Young University, including: bell tower, Karl G. Maeser Building, Wasatch Mountains, graduation, whitewashing the Y, Lewis Building fire, man and woman by canal, marching band, Ernest L. Wilkinson addressing assembly for new students, and flag raising. C. L. Purcell identified as artist on some pieces. Contains 21 items.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The item is an autobiography of Jennings written in 1935. Jennings was born in Ohio in 1853 and moved to Utah with his parents in 1856. He went to the Dixie Mission in southern Utah in 1862 and settled at Rockville. He gave his observations on schools, lyceum discussions, and the economic situation in the area. Interview by Hollis Scott with Widtsoe, teacher and author, concerning her reminiscences about her parents, her grandfather Brigham Young; and her husband, John A. Widtsoe. Also recalls her experiences as a student, faculty member, and matron at BYA, 1896-1898; 1905-1907. Gives her views on nutrition and the Word of Wisdom.

Collection includes forty-two photographs of buildings on the campus of Brigham Young University, as well as a few photographs of its founders, Mormon leaders, and other scenes from around Provo, Utah. The range of years which the photographs cover clearly shows the development of the BYU campus over time. Some of the photos are of suggested campus development plans from the years 1948 and 1956.
