Contains office records from the Monte L. Bean Museum including files relating to the dedication, accounting records, annual progress reports, organizational charts, and correspondence. There are also ten volumes of research diaries of Robert G. Bee in his studies of ornithology mostly in the state of Utah from the years 1924-1962.

Collection consists of a series of one hundred and sixty-seven color slides of photographs taken of Brigham Young University (BYU) campus, U.S. Geneva Steel, and the Utah Valley landscape. The slides were created by the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum and were presumably used for training purposes. Included in the slides relating to BYU campus are views of the campus, buildings, faculty, and campus centers. Slides are undated.

Scope and Contents Collection contains two catalogs. One has no dates, but the acquisition entries date from approximately 1870-1917. Many objects collected and donated by James Talmage. A certain number of items cataloged as originating from early Church members, including Joseph Smith and his peers. The other catalog records museum acquisitions from 1891-1915. Oral history interview with Wilmer W. Tanner

Scope and Contents Professor Tanner was interviewed by Morris Klinger on March 16, 1983 as part of the Joint Oral History Project for the Brigham Young University Archives and Brigham Young University Alumni Association Emeritus Club. The interview was transcribed in 1984. The material gives a brief sketch of Tanner's life and concentrates on the time he served as a professor of zoology at Brigham Young University.
