Includes three drafts of William Somerset Maugham's 40-page essay about Rudyard Kipling's short stories. Fifteen short stories by Kipling are prefaced by Maugham. Maugham also includes an introduction and short biography about Kipling in his writing. Drafts are annotated and bound as 40-page booklets. One draft is dated March 4, 1952.
