Thomas was born in England in 1830, and he married Mary Morgan Whitby in 1849. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1850 and migrated to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1854. Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography of Peter Beck. The author of the item is unknown. Peter Beck was born in Denmark in 1850 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was eight years old. He migrated to Utah in 1862. Included are some comments by Beck relating to his journey to Utah. Beck became a rancher and farmer and settled in American Fork, Utah. He married two women, had 17 children, and died in 1927.
