William Snow autobiography
Handwritten autobiographical materials. Snow writes about his early life in Vermont, conversion to the Mormon Church, and missionary work. Some genealogy and patriarchal blessings are included. Snow made the overland journey by ox team from Council Bluffs, Iowa to Salt Lake City in 1850. He writes of numerous deaths from cholera, problems with company discipline, and travelling conditions.

Also included are the diaries of Butt's wife, Laura Ellen Bushman Butt, 1896-1897. The materials document William Butt's life in Lehi, Utah, and his service as a missionary for the Mormon Church to the Northern States.

Contains a patriarchal blessing given by Zebedee Coltrin to Electa Bullock, who later became the first wife of Abraham Owen Smoot II. The blessing was given in Provo, Utah. Dated November 12, 1876.

Handwritten autobiography, 75 pages of John Nicolai Thueson Dorcheus, who lived in Gunnison, Utah, and later in Ashton, Idaho, and participated in the Black Hawk War against the Ute Indians in Utah. Also included are typed copies of patriarchal blessings of Dorcheus family members. Dated 1911.
