Ann writes about an experience in which her daughter lived when she was expected to die. Typewritten copy of a handwritten autobiography and diary. The autobiography was written in 1884 and tells of Jarvis' early life in England, her migration to Utah, and her move to St. George. Jarvis' diary covers the years 1884 to 1898. There are many gaps. She writes about the weather and her daily activities. Also included are patriarchal blessings of family members dating from 1875 to 1881. Most of them were given by William G. Perkins.

John Jenkins autobiography

Typewritten autobiography. Jenkins writes about his family joining the Mormon Church in England, their migration to Mosquito Creek, Iowa, where they lived for eleven years. Jenkins migrated to Farmington, Utah. He participated in the "Morrisite War" of 1862, helped other Mormons come to Utah, was married to three women, hid from federal officials who pursued him for "unlawful cohabitation," and served five months in jail on a charge of polygamy.

Photocopies of biographies of Louis Frederick Moench by Laura Moench Jenkins and Howard C. Moench. Laura's account has some fanciful conversation in it as well as copies of letters. Howard's record contains some brief memories he has of his father. Lewis was born in 1846 in Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1852. He settled in Ogden, Utah where he was an educator.

Typewritten draft of a biographical sketch written for the Utah State Historical Society of a Mormon pioneer, missionary, author-journalist and assistant Latter-day Saint Church historian. It describes (mainly through excerpts from his autobiography) his activities in those capacities, as well as his emigration from Denmark to Utah and family data. Also included are two articles by Newell Knight and an article from the Salt Lake City Historian's Office pertaining to "Washington Square."
