Photocopy of a typewritten biography. Hans Christian Hansen was born in Denmark in 1848. He later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah. He settled in the Pine Canyon farming area near Tooele, Utah, and died in 1924.

Her family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1852. She moved to American Fork, Utah, and married Thomas Ephraim Thornton in 1856.
